What is Sustainability?

Sustainability is about preserving life on our planet into the future. It means looking after our human needs while preserving nature. If we live beyond nature’s means we will destroy our only home.

Wars and conflicts happen when people live in poor or unhealthy conditions, or when they are treated unequally. So, how can we nurture the human race and care for nature - the source of all life?

The Sustainability Project gives you a place to discuss, investigate and present your views on the most pressing issues facing our planet.

Here you can:

* find useful online learning resources
* research and gather information
* communicate with other students, teachers and experts around the world
* discuss pressing issues
* publish your views and discoveries in the online Project Magazine
